The Learning Resources & Technology services department is responsible for developing, maintaining and upgrading the learning resources, technology services & support along with their related policies and procedures at MECIT. The objective of the department is to ensure that all possible knowledge resources & technology solutions are made available to the users in support of their efforts towards attaining MECIT’s mission.

Services Offered by the department

	Email	Make use of the 10GB of mail storage space and get in touch with your friends & teachers. MECIT Email is available to students as well as the alumni.
	Document Storage	Store your documents on the 25GB online space available and access them from anywhere. This service will be available from Spring 2011 semester.
	Leaning Management System	Enhance your learning with a variety of features in the LMS like discussion groups, supplementary learning materials including videos, online mock exams etc.
	Library Services	Search and Reserve library books that interest you. Additionally you may even view the list of books in your procession and renew them if required.
	Online Resources	Make best use of the online resources available. The MECIT library provides you access to renowned journals and databases in the field of Computing, Languages & business.
	Module Registration	Register modules online through CIS. Be quick to register for the available sessions before it gets filled. You can also take the print out of your semester timetable and be ready for the semester.
	Document Request	Request for documents like transcripts, various letters & other reports online through CIS.
	Placements	Get noticed. Register & keep your profile updated in the ePlacement portal for the recruiters to take notice.
