Welcome to the Department of Mathematics and Applied Sciences of the Middle East College of Information Technology. The department supports computing and electronics students.  As Mathematics is considered the queen of sciences, it plays a vital role in the development of all programmes. 

Basic mathematical skills and knowledge help the students consolidate their abilities in their areas of specialisation

Objectives
To equip students with the basic concepts and techniques in Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics in order to promote critical thinking and develop analytical abilities. With these objectives, the Department is offering  College Mathematics, Calculus and Numerical Methods, Advanced Calculus, Descriptive Statistics, Inferential Statistics, Medical Statistics, and Engineering Physics.
