Welcome to the department of Electronics and Communication. The department endeavours to address the human resource requirements of these growing specialisations.

Supported by well equipped multidisciplinary laboratories, the department offers high quality learning modules that encompass different areas such as communications, computers, controls, electronics, microcontrollers& VLSI design, integrated circuits, signal and information processing, wireless components and systems, and software development.

The programme has a general set of modules to be taken as departmental requirement, another set of modules that are specialisation centric and finally a set of modules as college requirements and electives. To promote self-study, research and inquiry students are required to do Projects at specific points during the programmes of study.

Objective
To prepare specialists in the emerging field of electronics and communications and to provide them with knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the rapidly developing world of electronics.
